Windows Phone

If you are a Windows phone user and waiting for some new features or some new design in your phone then stop waiting now. Because Microsoft gave its final decision about not to expecting anything for Windows phones. There would be no software or hardware updates for Windows phones from now.

Microsoft’s head Joe Belfiore posted two tweets about this news. In his first tweet he says that, “Of course we’ll continue to support the platform.. bug fixes, security updates, etc. But building new features/hardware aren’t focus”.

So according to Joe Belfiore Microsoft now just give some normal bug fixes and security fixes updates for older versions but no new feature for Windows phones.

In his second tweet he says that, “we have tried VERY HARD to incent app devs. Paid money.. wrote apps for them.. but volume of users is too low for most companies to invest”.

He clearly admitted that app problem for Windows phones will not be solved. Companies and developers are not interested in working on Windows phone’s apps.

Although Windows phones have good user interface than others. Android and IOS have black or white backgrounds and focuses more on app name rather than its icon. But in Windows phones user interface, icons are placed in more beautiful manner in an enlarged view. But still quantity of customers who are using Windows phones are low. May be because it takes time to understand the functioning of Windows phones.

It is not that Microsoft isn’t working for their customers. Microsoft just releases its Edge browser for Android and IOS, because customers are in a huge quantity. Every company wants to make profit and if a certain thing is not giving a company required profit then it should be improved or stop.

It is hard time for Windows phone lover because now there is no new hardware and feature. Either they have to compromise with the older version or switch to Android or IOS.
